The following details pertain to agent title requirements that are intended to be used for all correspondences and marketing purposes.

 

Any advertising on your behalf made, via email, business cards, social media, websites or any printed marketing material regarding your real estate business will require you to indicate your proper licensed title.

 

There are only two designated titles permitted by NYC Dept. Of State Regulations.  

 

Those titles are:  

  1. Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

  2. Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker

 

(Minor abbreviations are allowed, but must not be miss leading)

 

The following are examples to not use when advertising or marketing yourself and business.  

 

No - Real Estate Agent

No - Licensed Salesperson

No - Licensed Real Estate Agent

No - Licensed Real Estate Broker

No - Associate Broker

No - Licensed Associate Broker

No - Associate Real Estate Agent

No - Real Estate Guru

No - Licensed Amazing Agent

No - Licensed Real Estate Diva
